Lake Twistesee

Fun and relaxaton are the two main reasons for visiting nearby Lake Twistesee...

In addition to their being plenty of space for the children to play there are also large areas set aside for games and for sunbathing. 
Volleyball court, open air chess and table tennis tables are all on hand.

Good food aplenty is available in the cafeteria at the water ski centre, at the Café im See and at two further kiosks on the very edge of the lake. 

Water skiing for beginners and those who are more advanced on an 800 m long course.

Sailing (up to 14 m² of sail), rowing, peddle boats and surfing can all be arranged with "Seeschwalbe" boat hire.

Fishing (appropriate licence required) in a lake with abolutely no pollution!

Hiking and Nordic Walking on a 7 km long pedestrian pathway around the lake.

Tray your hand at golf on the 9-hole golf course. Information is available from the Golf- und Landclub.

Observe rare water birds at the bird watching station in the nature reserve.
